Tahisha Naidu

Discipline: Rehabilitation Team

Tahisha graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She has since completed her Medical Acupuncture in 2011 and is also certified to perform functional dry needling with Kinetacore as of 2014. Other continuing education courses that Tahisha has taken include: Sports Fellowship through the Univeristy of Alberta and the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic, Sports First Responder, Myofascial Release, and levels 1 and 2 of Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).

 

During her career Tahisha has worked with various levels of athletics. She has worked in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) for two seasons as the head therapist for the Women’s Ottawa Senators. Tahisha has also worked for 5 consecutive years with the University of Alberta Golden Bears Football team as the physiotherapist, as well as various other U of A varsity teams. In 2014 and 2015 Tahisha was involved in professional sport as she was the head therapist with the Edmonton Rush Lacrosse Team. Her involvement with sport and athletics continues as she works with athletes from an amateur to professional level.
