Boris Boyko

Dr. Boyko received his medical degree from the University of Alberta in 1979 and has continued his education in the discipline of Team Physician and Sport Medicine, receiving his CASM Sport Medicine Diploma in 1995. He is a member of the Edmonton North Primary Care Network.

 

In addition to his work at HealthPointe, Dr Boyko operates his own medical practice and is the Team Physician for the Edmonton Eskimos (CFL), University of Alberta Golden Bears, and is a consulting physician for the Edmonton Oilers (NHL) and the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic.

 

He is actively involved at the University of Alberta as a Community Preceptor for Family Practice residents and as a clinical lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Boyko provides numerous presentations to lay persons and physicians on sports-related injuries. He has also served the community for many years as a member of the Capital Care Medical Advisory Committee in Edmonton, Alberta.
